4-Day Bwindi Gorilla & Lake Bunyonyi Relaxation
This 4-day safari is the perfect blend of high-octane adventure and serene relaxation, specifically designed for those who want to experience Uganda’s premier wildlife encounter followed by the tranquility of its most beautiful lake. This journey takes you deep into the ancient, mist-covered hills of the southwest for a face-to-face meeting with the endangered mountain gorillas, ending with a peaceful retreat on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi.

Experience Highlights
The Gorilla Encounter (Bwindi Impenetrable National Park) The heart of this safari is the trek into Bwindi, a UNESCO World Heritage site. You will navigate the dense, emerald-green undergrowth with expert trackers to locate one of the habituated gorilla families. Spending an hour in the presence of a 400-pound Silverback and his family is often described as a life-changing experience, offering a rare window into the social lives of these gentle giants.
The Place of Many Little Birds (Lake Bunyonyi) After the physical challenge of the trek, you will retreat to Lake Bunyonyi, a stunning caldera lake dotted with 29 emerald islands. As the second-deepest lake in Africa, it offers a safe, croc-free, and hippo-free environment for swimming, exploration, and photography. The lake’s name translates to the place of many little birds, making it a haven for enthusiasts and those seeking quiet reflection.
